Cork Bar
Our family and friends began vacationing in Ocean City, MD in the mid-1970s but we stopped in the early 2000s as quality really went down across the city. Anyhow, Cork Bar was a central attraction during our many visits and it was here that the children and adults would gather for thasher's fries, lemonade, and ice cold draught beer. Given all the firefighters and other public service people in our family, it was a place of belonging and pride. Ya'll probably already know that such is impossible in modern times and what a shame that is. People sure do love their private clubs. Can't say I'll ever return to this one.

We came to this spot 3 nights in a row (after 10pm, not during peak season). The servers are all so nice. The food was basic bar food. The drinks were great and strong. I love that the atmosphere was of a traditional bar. And they are open until 2am. We definitely aim to come back.
